Learning & liberty

If school then is a place that is organized to shape our children, why have we insisted on the one size fits all paradigm? To become social is to learn your place in the world with others. If it is organized  to be competitive, controlling and restrictive, then students will become those things. If it is structured to cultivate sensibility, compassion and creativity, then we can have a different kind of world.
